Past incarnations

Jen and Betsy in an un-named college project
1990 to 1994. We played at Frankies Kitchen. Please forgive us.

Upon graduation we took the band to London for a summer of fun. We called ourselves Canine. There was some mild interest and someone wanted to manage us, but our visas ran out so we went home. We played at the Camden town staples, The Falcon and The Dublin Castle. On this side of the ocean we played at Side Walk Café (often) and once at the Cooler (now defunct). We lost Ryan to California and kind of took a long break.

Betsy started playing with Ben Maloway for a while (in 1997? It was during the dot com bubble when everyone was doing well except me because I was doing antique restoration) and then we formed Radon Daughters. The original lineup was Ben and Betsy with a rotating lineup of Daniel (I forget his last name but he worked for ________({I forget}) Robin VanMaarth (we lost her to the Candy Darlings), then we settled down with Ben, Andrea Stevenson, Jen and Betsy. Our name changed to Dyelines. We played at Pete's Candy Store and The Charlston (please forgive us again).

Then we lost Ben to North Carolina and Martin Neinstdet became our guitarist and our name changed to Fancy Mice. We played at Luna Lounge, Freddie's Bar, and Pete's Candy Store (I'm pretty sure) Then we lost both Andrea (went to go do cool things with prosthetic design in Chicago) and Martin (Went to go dig up cemeteries in New Jersey).

Jen and I threw our hands up in the air and said, “Now we will be Radon Projects and have lots of people play with us on purpose, not by accident”.
Thus the incarnation you see before you.

Not so bad for a lineup of words.

Of course there’s lots more to it. I’ll let you know eventually.
